Terms of Use
Last updated August 10, 2026
Effective date: August 9, 2026
1. The Service
PaizLogic is a digital circuit simulator built for learning, analysis, and study. It lets you design, simulate, and save digital logic circuits directly in your browser, and optionally publish circuits so other members of the community can view and reuse them. These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of PaizLogic, available at paizlogic.com and its subdomains (together, the "Service"), operated by PaizTech, a company organized in Costa Rica. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Your Account
To use most features of the Service you need to create an account with a valid email address. We require you to verify that address before your account becomes fully usable, and we require the information you give us — including your name and any other profile details you choose to add — to be accurate and kept up to date. You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for all activity that happens under your account. If you believe your account has been compromised, contact us right away.
3. Minimum Age
You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. If you are under 18, you may only use the Service with the permission of a parent or legal guardian, who is responsible for supervising your use of it. If we learn that an account belongs to a child under 13, we will close it.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in a way that does not harm PaizLogic, other users, or third parties. In particular, you agree not to: • Abuse, harass, or attempt to disrupt the Service, including through excessive automated requests or attempts to overwhelm our infrastructure • Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Service, or attempt to extract its source code, except to the extent applicable law expressly allows it • Scrape, crawl, or systematically extract data from the Service through automated means without our prior written permission • Upload, publish, or share circuits or content that are illegal, infringe someone else's rights, or that you do not have the right to share • Circumvent or attempt to circumvent any security, rate-limiting, or access-control measure of the Service
We may investigate and take action, including suspending or terminating accounts, against anyone who violates this section.
5. Your Circuits and Content
You keep full ownership of the circuits, projects, and other content you create in PaizLogic. We do not claim any ownership over your work. Saving your circuits to your account grants PaizLogic only the technical permission needed to store, back up, and display them back to you as part of operating the Service.
6. Publishing a Circuit
If you choose to publish a circuit to the community gallery, you agree to license it under the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike 4.0 license (CC BY-NC-SA 4.0), on the same terms described at the point of publishing: others may use, modify, and redistribute it as long as they credit you, do not use it commercially, and release any derivative work under the same license. This license is irrevocable for copies of your circuit that have already been distributed under it before you request its removal — unpublishing stops new distribution going forward, but it cannot undo licenses already granted to people who obtained a copy while it was public. Publishing does not transfer ownership of your circuit to PaizLogic.
7. PaizLogic's Intellectual Property
The Service itself — its software, source code, design, visual identity, and the PaizLogic name and logo — is the property of PaizTech and is protected by intellectual property law. These Terms do not grant you any right to use PaizLogic's trademarks, branding, or software outside of using the Service as intended.
8. No Warranty; Not for Safety-Critical Use
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that simulation results will be accurate under every condition.
PaizLogic is a learning and study tool. It is not designed, tested, or intended for use in the design, verification, or operation of real systems where a failure or defect could endanger life, health, or property — including but not limited to medical devices, industrial control systems, aviation, or critical infrastructure. You agree not to rely on PaizLogic for that purpose.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, PaizTech and its team will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of the Service, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms or the Service will not exceed the amount, if any, you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose.
10. Suspension, Termination, and Account Deletion
We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, if we are required to do so by law, or if we discontinue the Service. You may delete your account at any time from your account settings; doing so removes your access to the Service and, subject to Section 6 above and our Privacy Policy, your stored data.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes to the Service or to applicable law. When we make a material change, we will update the effective date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify you through the Service or by email. Continuing to use the Service after a change takes effect means you accept the updated Terms.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Costa Rica, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of the Service will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Costa Rica.
