What's new in PaizLogic
One entry per release, newest first.
v1.16 · August 2026
Added
- PaizLogic Academy has a front page. It presents the digital electronics course — its fifteen modules, what each one covers and what the course includes — alongside a catalogue of the courses being prepared, in English, Spanish, Portuguese and French
- Reading the course needs no account, and the page says so. An account only ever serves to remember where you left off
Fixed
- A profile photo no longer reaches our servers until you press Save. Framing a photo and then cancelling used to leave it uploaded and already in use; cancelling now leaves everything exactly as it was, and so does removing a photo
- The framing window tells you it is loading your photo instead of showing an empty box, and says so plainly when it cannot read the file
- The photo you just saved appears in the account menu straight away, instead of waiting for a reload
- Windows now sit their drag handle and close button at the same distance from the top edge as the floating panels do
v1.15 · August 2026
Fixed
- Your profile picture now appears in the top bar too, showing your initials when you haven't uploaded one — it used to show a generic silhouette there and your initials in the profile window
- Clicking your profile picture now opens the file picker so you can upload and frame a photo; it previously opened a menu that was drawn underneath the window, so the click appeared to do nothing
- An uploaded profile picture now actually displays. It was being saved correctly and then refused at render time
- Help tooltips and menus opened from inside any window are now visible instead of being hidden behind it
v1.14 · August 2026
Fixed
- The welcome window for guest mode appears again once your guest session expires, instead of only ever showing once per browser
- The "Continue as a guest" button in the no-account email now opens the welcome window it promises
v1.12 · August 2026
Added
- Form validation errors now appear next to the field that caused them in an amber tooltip, in your chosen language
- Form fields are now validated in the order they appear on screen, top to bottom
- Features reserved for registered users now appear disabled and explain why when you hover over them
Changed
- When using the simulator without an account, you can now create up to three circuits per project
Fixed
- Creating an account no longer takes you to the simulator before your account is ready — you stay on the signup page and see a message asking you to check your email
- Verification emails now actually arrive when you sign up
- After signing up and before verifying your email, signing in no longer let you bypass verification and enter the simulator anyway
- The "Sign up" button in the welcome window of guest mode was taking you back to the simulator in a loop instead of going to the main page
- When you entered an incomplete email, the error appeared next to the password field instead of the email field
- The email field's placeholder text was in English even when you were using another language
v1.11 · August 2026
Added
- Account creation and signing in now happen on paizlogic.com in a popup window, without leaving the page
- You can sign in with just your email: a login link arrives in your inbox — no password needed, though you can still use one if you prefer
- If you enter an email without an account, you'll be invited to create one or continue as a guest
- Registration now requires you to accept the Terms of Use and Privacy Policy, both available in all four languages
- Your session now works across all subdomains — sign in on the landing and you'll be logged in when you reach the simulator
- Account emails — login links, verification, and password reset — now come from PaizLogic's identity and in your chosen language
Changed
- Signing in with Google now requires you to accept the terms before continuing
- Email verification is now required before you can use the simulator
- When you enter without an account, you'll see a welcome screen explaining guest mode and offering to sign up
v1.10 · August 2026
Added
- A File Browser for organizing your projects into folders you can create, rename, move and delete
- Publishing now goes through a review before a circuit becomes public, and the form shows the package your circuit compiles to
Changed
- The Project menu was reorganized, with an icon, a description and a keyboard shortcut on every entry — Publish moved here from the Circuit menu
- Open, Save and File Browser share one window design, and the search box lists matches as you type
Fixed
- Bibliographic references typed into the publish form were discarded instead of saved
- A single click in the Open dialog opened the project instead of just selecting it
v1.9 · August 2026
Added
- Sign in, sign up and password reset now open in an accessible dialog right on the landing
- Visible labels on every sign-in field, with much higher contrast
Changed
- The old sign-in page now takes you to the landing, where the dialog opens
- The password-reset notice no longer reveals whether an account exists
v1.8 · August 2026
Added
- A public changelog page, in all four languages
Changed
- Floating panels now stay within the canvas and scroll internally
- The default-view and fit-all buttons can be turned off
- The fullscreen hamburger menu now shows the full menu bar
Fixed
- Switching languages no longer forces a save on a project you have not changed
- The landing page's sticky navigation bar no longer sits behind other elements
v1.7 · August 2026

- Every page now publishes its authorship and last-updated date
Changed
- The component catalog on the landing page always matches what the simulator actually offers

v1.5 · August 2026
